Washi paper, made from Japan’s rich natural water resources, has a history of over a thousand years and is produced across the country.Bandc uses washi paper bands rooted in the traditional mizuhiki craft.These bands are uniquely Japanese—soft, strong, and warm to the touch.

Made from machine-made washi twisted into cords and bonded into strips, this material reflects Japan's timeless elegance.Produced at the foot of Mt. Fuji, the washi bands embody a sense of quiet beauty and the Japanese spirit of cherishing limited resources.Historically used as handles for rice bags, this safe and trusted material is both practical and symbolic.

In today’s sustainability-focused world, washi paper bands are an ethical, planet-friendly material.At Bandc, we manufacture all our products in our own workshop in Tohoku using a unique technique inspired by woodblock printing.We take pride in quality. Every product is hand-finished after your order is placed.We don’t mass-produce—we make each item carefully, with heart and precision.
